The Coalfields Local History Association and Towns with Heart again honoured members of our community who served our country in conflicts since Federation with the River of Poppies in the Col Brown Rotary Park, and the Field of Honour in Kurri Kurri General Cemetery in which flags were placed beside each service man or woman's grave.
